Jordan Acosta is a British-Filipino speculative fiction writer. He was born in Hong Kong in the 1980s and moved to the UK in his teens, before graduating with two degrees in architecture from the University of Sheffield. He now works as a visual historian and creative director based near London. His audio drama, The Pallid Mask, is available now from all podcast outlets.

We had a great time chatting with Jordan and hearing about his work as a visual historian (and what that means) - and how that informed his writing. We talk about the long road to completing his first novel, Dark Century, and how he originally conceived of The Coronet (the first part of The Pallid Mask audio drama) as a short story. We discuss how it ties in with The King in Yellow stories, and what made him decide to turn it all into an audio drama.
